 reports, 1d 15h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. There are two things that give reference to size here - the person in the lower left hand side of the frame and the mist that has started to obscure the finer detail of the bridges support. Both of these create a powerful atmosphere where the weight of the bridge weighs over the viewer - I feel as if the structure itself continues outside of the frame and passes over my head. You've done a wonderful job composing this and finding straight / symmetrical lines that match the edges of the frame perfectly.
This is powerful and I love it!
I love the way the mist fades the bridge into the distance so well.
The overcast sky really adds to the overall feeling of weight given by the bridge
